Pries parskrendant i zeme

Lithuania

Synopsis

The film is based on director Arunas Matelis’ personal experience. After his daughter’s treatment for leukaemia, Arunas Matelis decided to come back to the hospital and to leave the camera for the children, and together with them and their parents to make a film about the possibility of happiness there, about the value of love and sacrifice, about lessons of stoicism and faith, that children can teach us.

The wordless film combines the children's own video view "from inside" with photos and a diary of life in the hospital.
