Un Viaggio Chiamato Amore

Italy

Synopsis

The life and loves of writer and poet Sibilla Aleramo are portrayed through a narrative and chronological arc spanning from her adolescence to her womanhood, with a focus on 1916 to 1918, the years during which she met and fell in love with poet Dino Campana. These are the most intense and torturous years of their passionate and discontinuous relationship, wonderfully brought to life by the correspondence on which the screenplay is based and which was recently republished as Un viaggio chiamato amore (A Journey Called Love).
