Synopsis

On the eve of World War II, a British widow hires a self-taught archaeologist to dig up mysterious formations on her land, leading to a staggering find.

Director's Biography

Simon Stone has an impressive list of theatre credits. He was founder and artistic director of The Hayloft Project in Australia (THE PROMISE, THE ONLY CHILD, THE SUICIDE, SPRING AWAKENING, B.C., AND CHEKHOV RECUT – PLATONOV) before becoming resident director at Belvoir Sydney. His film credits include his multi award-winning first feature THE DAUGHTER, adapted from his production THE WILD DUCK, starring Geoffrey Rush, and the short film REUNION.
