A young man - Victor - flies to Paris to join the family at the bedside of their father. But the old man behaves in the strangest way. Why is he trying to escape from the hosptal? Is he afraid of those who are looking after him? Has he simply gone mad? Perhaps. But, unlike the other family members who bicker over the future inheritance, Victor wants to know why.
