Synopsis

Cristina and Tudor Ionescu have founded a happy family with their two children, Maria (5 and a half) and Ilie (7). They're in their thirties and live in a nice apartment in a Romanian town. He works for a phone company and she's an accountant. They seem to live the life of an ordinary couple with their children. But one Sunday morning when Tudor takes his kids to the park, Maria disappears. An event that will abruptly change their lives for ever.

Director's Biography

Constantin Popescu is a Romanian film director, writer and script writer, whose work includes short (THE APARTMENT - 2004, A LINEMAN’S CABIN - 2006, WATER - 2007, THE YELLOW SMILEY FACE - 2008) and feature-length (TALES FROM THE GOLDEN AGE – 2009, PORTRAIT OF THE FIGHTER AS A YOUNG MAN- 2010, PRINCIPLES OF LIFE- 2010,) films with which he participated in competitions in the main film festivals in the United States of America, Australia and Europe (Venice 2004 and 2006, Cannes 2009, Berlin 2009, San Sebastian, etc.) and won various awards. He also directed TV series for the main Romanian Broadcaster, ProTV (LAS FIERBINTI -2011), as well as for HBO Romania (IN TREATEMENT- 2012, SHALL WE KISS? - 2013).
