Director's Biography

León Siminiani is a screenwriter and director. He has explored different formats and genres in eight short films and two feature documentaries halfway between diary films and film essays: MAP (2012) and NOTES FOR A HEIST FILM (2018), both nominated for the Goya in the Best Documentary category. He has also written and directed two documentary TV series for platforms THE ASUNTA CASE (Atresmedia/ Netflix, 2016) and THE ALCASSER MURDERS (Netflix, 2019).
