Felhö a Gangesz Felett
Hungary
Synopsis
The paths of Andras', a genius computer-programmer — and a drug-addict for years — and Juli, an unsuccessful and less than ambitious young actress cross each other an a Budapest street, at a moment which marks probably the loneliest and most desperate period in their respective lives.
On the spur of the moment, Juli agrees to move in with Andras to help him get rid of the habit. During the following couple of weeks spent locked up in Andras' flat, they go through the most miserable experience of human existence, the deepest depths of psychological suffering and an almost devastating humiliation and fear, but all that —as their relationship develops — with an increasingly brightening ray of hope.
And when finally the light appears at the end of the tunnel, they decide to fulfill Andras' childhood dream and travel to India.
