I nie opuszczę cię aż do śmierci

Poland

Synopsis

Franek and Andrzej met at a school for disabled children. "I am disabled physically and Franek is disabled mentally. I am his mind and he is my hands," says one of the men. He introduces us to the world of unusual friendship, with its roots in childhood. Having been through a great deal, the men now live together. "Together we make one person," Franek adds, and tells about Andrzej's wisdom and "understanding of the world". They have money to live from their disability pensions. Franek satisfies their modest needs, specified by Andrzej. Franek cooks, does the shopping, washes up and cleans. We look at the men shown in the film with admiration, not with sympathy or mercy. We watch this film even with jealousy. We admire a friend who says firmly: "And I will not leave you until I die"...
