St. Pauli Nacht

Germany

Synopsis

St. Pauli Nacht is the fast-paced story of one single, eventful night in the infamous red-light harbor district of Hamburg. The film follows the lives and loves…and deaths…of a handful of the more colorful denizens of St. Pauli.

Filled with promising ambitions, shattered dreams, love and revenge and in the end…hope, the story reveals how tangibly interconnected our individual fates really are.

Starting with Johnny, we are immediately thrust into a series of random events and chance encounters which alter the destiny of everyone involved, some for the better, and some for the worse.

As one character’s fate is followed to its climax as a result of the interaction with the next character, we jump back in time to understand what events in their evening had sent them on such a fateful collision course.

The further we are drawn into the web of personal entanglements, the greater is our feel for the color and texture that comprise the fabric of a single night in the exotic red-light district known St. Pauli.
